Weston-super-Mare fireworks 2026: Fireworks at Sea on 14 November is free; the cricket club display on 7 November is £13 an adult and sells out early.
Weston-super-Mare fireworks in 2026 come on three dates: Fireworks on the Hill in Clevedon on Saturday 31 October, the cricket club’s bonfire night on Saturday 7 November, and Fireworks at Sea over Weston bay on Saturday 14 November, from 6.30pm to 8pm. Only the last one is free, watched from the promenade. Bonfire Night itself falls on Thursday 5 November 2026.
Updated 1 October: Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club and Clevedon’s Fireworks on the Hill have both put 2026 tickets on sale, so their dates, times and prices are below. Portishead Town FC has still not published a 2026 date.

The date is on the Grand Pier’s own events list and in Visit Weston’s event record, which is where the timings and the parking arrangements below come from. (The Grand Pier, Visit Weston)
Fireworks at Sea: what you need
- When: Saturday 14 November 2026, 6.30pm to 8pm.
- Cost: free from anywhere along the promenade.
- Where to stand: the promenade, Knightstone Island, or the clearing in Weston Woods for a view from above.
- Parking: along Marine Parade Road. The manned entrance is at the Royal Sands Link Road, marshalled by volunteers from Weston Lions, who collect a donation per vehicle.
- Dogs: the display is loud, and the organisers say it is not suitable for dogs other than assistance dogs.
If you want to watch from the pier itself, the Grand Pier sells three tiers: a standard ticket with unlimited rides, a gold ticket that adds a hot meal from the Boardwalk Cafe, and a table in Tiffany’s Restaurant with a two-course meal from 6pm and a private balcony viewing area. Prices are on the pier’s booking page rather than published as a flat list. (The Grand Pier)
One local point of order: the display lands the night after Weston-super-Mare Carnival, which is on Friday 13 November. That is two big seafront nights running, and the parking pressure on the Saturday starts with a town that has already had one.
Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club: Saturday 7 November
The town’s biggest ticketed display is back on Saturday 7 November 2026 at the cricket club on Devonshire Road, BS23 4NY. Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks start at 7.30pm, with the display again by Firestorm Pyro FX, plus food stalls, indoor and outdoor bars and a mini funfair (Ticket Tailor, the club’s only ticket outlet).
Buy in advance. The club says tickets sold out ahead of the night in each of the last three years and none were left for the gate. Ticket Tailor is the only place selling them. The 2026 prices are up on last year:
| Ticket | 2026 | 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| Adult, 16 and over | £13 | £10 |
| Child, under 16, only with an adult | £6 | £5 |
| Two adults | £22 | £20 |
| Family, 2 adults and 2 under-16s | £27 | £25 |
| Under 3 | free, no ticket needed | free |
What else the club says before you go:
- There is no parking on site, apart from a few pre-arranged blue badge spaces off Windwhistle Lane (email sales@westoncricketclub.co.uk). The club warns there will be no street parking near the ground from about 5pm, and asks people to park ten minutes away and walk, or take the number 7 bus along Devonshire Road.
- The bar and club are cashless; the food and ride concessions are separate traders, and some may take cash.
- No sparklers (the wire damages the outfield machinery), no alcohol brought in, and no dogs other than guide dogs. Under-16s must be with an adult.
- Tickets are non-refundable. If the night is called off, tickets roll to a reserve date that the page gives as “Sunday 9th November”. There is no Sunday 9 November in 2026: the Sunday after the display is 8 November, and 9 November is a Monday, so that line looks carried over from 2025. Check with the club before relying on it. If the reserve date is cancelled too, refunds are promised within 7 to 10 days, less £1 a ticket.
Fireworks on the Hill, Clevedon: Saturday 31 October
Mary Elton Primary School’s Home School Association runs Fireworks on the Hill at Clevedon Cricket Club, Esmond Grove, BS21 7HW, on Saturday 31 October 2026, its third year. There are two displays: a reduced-noise display at 6.30pm and the main display at 7pm, with the site open from 5pm. Bellybusters does the food and the cricket club runs the bar.
Tickets are on TicketSource at £8.62 each including the booking fee, or £26.95 for a group ticket covering four people in any mix, such as two adults and two children or one adult and three children. Everyone over 12 months needs a ticket, and capacity is capped at 3,000. The booking listing itself shows the time as 7.15pm, which does not match the 6.30pm and 7pm displays in the organiser’s description; go by the description and arrive early. (TicketSource)
Portishead Town FC: no 2026 date yet
Portishead Town FC, Bristol Road, BS20 6QG. The club’s own website did not respond when checked on 5 September, and there was still no first-party 2026 date on 1 October. Some listing sites are already advertising a “Friday 7th November 2026” display, but 7 November 2026 is a Saturday; Friday 7 November was last year’s date, so treat those as 2025 listings with the year changed. The last dated record traced is a listing for Friday 7 November 2025, gates at 5.30pm, tickets from the clubhouse starting at £5. Treat that as last year’s, not this year’s. (Bristol Rocks listing)
Clevedon Town Council’s own events calendar carries committee meetings and nothing else through to early November, so there is no town-run display in the diary there either. (Clevedon Town Council)
A trap worth knowing
Search for “Weston bonfire night” and you will be offered a Bonfire and Fireworks Night at Weston Park on Sunday 8 November 2026. That is a different Weston. Weston Park is at Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal, TF11 8LE, in Shropshire, about three hours up the M5 and M6. Check the postcode before you book. (Weston Park)
Frequently asked questions
When are the Weston-super-Mare fireworks in 2026?
Fireworks at Sea, over the bay by the Grand Pier, is on Saturday 14 November 2026 from 6.30pm to 8pm, free from the promenade. The cricket club’s bonfire and fireworks night is on Saturday 7 November, fireworks at 7.30pm, tickets only.

Is Fireworks at Sea free?
Yes, from anywhere along the promenade. The Grand Pier sells paid viewing on the pier itself, with unlimited rides, and a gold ticket or a Tiffany’s Restaurant table that adds a meal.
Is there a quieter fireworks display near Weston?
Clevedon’s Fireworks on the Hill on 31 October starts with a reduced-noise display at 6.30pm, half an hour before the main one.
Setting off your own
North Somerset Council sets out the law plainly: you must be 18 or over to buy fireworks, and it is illegal to set them off between 11pm and 7am, except on Bonfire Night, when the cut-off is midnight, and on New Year’s Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when it is 1am. (North Somerset Council)
Before you travel
Nothing has been published about road closures for Fireworks at Sea; the seafront carries the crowd on ordinary traffic arrangements plus the marshalled Marine Parade Road parking. For everything else that is shut across the district that week, see our roadworks and travel page, and for tariffs at the town’s car parks see parking in North Somerset.
